I would say about 10 hours total from NYC to Toronto. From the state - about hour and a half to 2 hours. I hope this will help. If there is heavy traffic - 2 to 3 hours or so from the state if from NYC - 12 -13 hours. Also weather mix up the time to get to Toronto.

I hope this will help.

I did Chicago to Pittsburgh by train (Amtrak) and it took 9 hours, i think NYC Toronto is a similar distance and will be around the same kinda time. Hope this helps.

It depends. Are you talking about the city or the state? If the state..where abouts? Give me a zip code, and I can tell you how long it takes.
