I am going to have my hair cut by aTony and Guy student so I know I may not get what I want, as they can tell me what works for me the best. But I am just wondering if it is a bad option for my hair. My hair is about shoulder length, and as I dyed it before, there is about 10cm of bright brown bit at the ent, but there's about 8cm black hair at the root.

my best friend recently got an asymmetircal haircut and it looks absolutely gorgeous. unfortunately, she has to take the time to straighten it everyday. i would suggest asking your stylist for an option that is a style that you like, but you can pull off even without straightening your hair, unless you don't mind straightening it everyday.

You will be able to get your hair cut like that, but it could require a lot of maintenance, it depends how much time you're prepared to spend on your hair. I also have naturally wavy/curly hair and was fancying a similar style when my hair was shorter, but decided against it as I thought it would be too much maintenance and not look good when it was wavy; I didn't want to straighten it all the time cos it would be bad for my hair. My hair is now quite long, about halfway down my back and I have asymmetric choppy layers, it works when my hair is curly and straight but that's because of the weight pulling it down as it's long. Talk to the stylist and if you think you can cope with styling it regularly or if it's long enough to pull into a ponytail so you could just tie it up some days then go for it. But if you want it to be easily manageable tell them and they will be able to advise you. I would probably wait and grow it a bit longer first. Take in pictures of what you want and don't be afraid to be specific. I find that students are sometimes better than stylists who have been working for years as they really try to listen and give you what you want rather than what is 'fashionable.' Good luck!

Why don't you go and ask to have a chat with student who'll be cutting your hair first? Maybe they'll be watched by a tutor to avoid any mistakes or the tutor may want to use you as a model to show the students what to do. It's better to speak up than say nothing, once it's cut you can't stick it back on! Good luck

I've just had a similar cut and I have very wavy hair. Although it looked fantastic when it was done, I had to buy new strightners and loads of new hair products, now my hair is really difficult to manage and it only looked good for a few days!!! Think about it first!!!!

I actually have the curliest hair in the international! lol mine is frizzy and it truly is really curly.i dont like it because it truly is continually a discomfort to sweep it and also you cant do many hairstyles both. inspite of in case you straighten my hair after 2 hours it truly is going to likely be back to its curly state back.thereare everlasting straightening too. i imagine all the ladies only imagine with instantly hair it looks extra useful so that they beg there mom and father and get it straightened

When you cut it might shrink a bit because of the lack of weight. So you will need a good frizz and anti shrink product. Try Mixed Chicks leave-in... It is for curly hair... defines curls.

You will have to relax your hair or you will end up with a afro.
