I did. My husband is buddhist and I am christian... but neither of us are very religious, so religion is not really an issue for us. I think you need to ask yourself, and the other person needs to do the same- how important is my religion? am I willing to give it up for this person? If you both are very set in your religions, then it may not work out....

The Bible speaks of being "unequally yolked"--I believe this primarily refers to Christianity. I think it's also refering to denominational issues. There can be great division if denominations aren't equally yolked; I lean toward same denomnation more, but I personally believe that if people marry someone that is close enough in belief to their own denomination it can work out.

I would. I am older now, and there would be no children involved. I would never marry a Christian---as I was raised as one, and never want to go that again-all the family arguments about my different religion. I would prefer to marry a Sephardic Jew, but, I would also marry a Muslim.

That depends on their religious beliefs. I doubt that I would be attracted to someone with most religious beliefs.

Depends on what religion we are talking about. Yes, I might marry a Pagan, Buddhist, or an Atheist. I would not marry a Christian or Muslim.

I did. My husband is a Buddhist and I am a Unitarian. I don't and didn't see it as a problem. His family, mostly Lutheran, and my family, mostly Southern Baptist, were the ones who had problems with one another's religion. As such, we ignored their pettiness and told them to just deal with it because we wanted to be married to one another. In the end, everyone got along just fine and as long as they follow our rules *IF* we ever have children (I don't want them taking my children to church or church functions), then everyone will continue to get along just fine.

Actually, I hope to. My boyfriend is not a Wiccan, and I'd really like to marry him.

God's rules are to protect and bless. Its another stress of that has to be compromised

Only if they weren't really aggressive about it and didn't use every opportunity possible to try and convert me.
