First it is time for end time prophecies to be fulfilled and that is what Daniel and Revelations, how can any body witness any thing if they are not there and if they are there, then they do not know any thing if they do not know Daniel and Revelation.

The Bible tells us the identity of one of these witnesses at Malachi 4:5 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD." From this, we know Elijah will appear at some time prior to the beginning of the second half of the Tribulation, which Jesus called the "Great Tribulation." It is during this time that the Jews will be horribly persecuted. Presumably, the other Witness will be with Elijah, but Scripture is silent whether or not Elijah appears first or they both appear at the same time.

You may know that Elijah was one of two people who were taken up to Heaven while still alive. The other was Enoch. However, there is no Biblical reference that positively identifies the second Witness of Revelation as Enoch. Another possibility is Moses, who was seen speaking with Jesus and Elijah during the Transfiguration. Or, it could be someone else.

The only other place in the Bible where these two Witnesses are discussed is in Zechariah Chapter 4. Read it and see what you think; they're referred to as the "two annointed ones."

As for the fire from their mouths, this is a miracle from God. Certainly no ordinary human beings can do this. I believe this will literally be fire proceeding from their mouths because Rev. 11:5 tells us it devours and kills the enemies of the Witnesses.

REALLY good question.
You'll get many answers. Some say the old and the new testament. Others will say some angels. Some say Enoch an Elijah. No one is really sure. Fire coming from their mouth means truth. But I suggest they are "like" Enoch and Elijah. John the baptist was "like" Elijah.

I believe that it is Enoch and Elijah because they are the two that did not experience death. And it is appointed that everyone should die once. I believe that when they return to be the witnesses they will be completing their appointment to die. However they shall be resurrected just as Christ was resurrected. The fire that comes from their mouths is the Word of God, or Truth.

God grants them the power to spew forth fire from their mouths. God gives them the power to block out the sun and have total darkness upon the earth. He also gives them the power to seal up the clouds and keep it from raining, which of course who cause a dry spell and famine and stuff like that.

Some say its Moses and Elijah, others say its Enoch and Elijah.

It cannot be Moses because Moses saw death, he died.

Enoch and Elijah did not see death, which they will see death when they are defeated by the Beast(the Antichrist). BUT they will rise from the dead three days later and ascend into Heaven

Do you not know that all things are possible with God. Enoch and Elijah has passed on, but they will return, so how do you explain that? We can't think to even try to understand the ways of God, if we did He wouldn't be much of a God.
