Now isn't a bad time to start taking her to play school. It does good for children to be surrounded by their own peers -- it increses their developement. Children learn much from each other... For example, a child who is not yet walking can learn, and get the incentive to walk faster when they are consistantly around a child who does already walk.

Socialization... It's a great thing.

When my daughter was old enough (met the age requirement) for daycare I set her in there once a week, just so that she could have a change of pace and meet other kids her own age -- and that was when she turned 18 months.

If you're not comfortable with doing it everyday, do it once a week to start and slowly move up -- it'll help you and your daughter adjust better to it.

My daughter is 2yrs and 3months. I have been looking for a play school but in my area they won't take them til they are 3. I have looked into tumble tots groups and they are all full and she has been on a waiting list for 6months. I have searched the local government sites and the only thing out there is mother and toddler groups. I wanted to let my daughter go somewhere and have an hour rest whilst she played and made friends. If you do succeed then please add additions to your question. It would really help. Thanks.xx

play school? like a day care/ headstart type thing? my 2 year old has been at a center that is also an unofficial headstart. kids learn colors, shapes, letters, and interact with kids from ages 1-5. she learns so much. i'm surprised at the things she does and says. it couldn't hurt for kids to be around ther kids, they pick things up quick.

My spouse is a public college instructor and he or she is so indignant on the union that she is finding for a job in a private college. they're the reason for the loss of life of public education. there are maximum of undesirable instructors who do not belong there and that they are secure by the unions. They not might desire to coach while they get tenure. unquestionably they adjust into e book instructors. "examine financial disaster 7 and do the questions on the tip. Your attempt would be on Monday." that's a shame truly. The Bush twins went to public college and did purely superb yet they have sturdy mothers and dads. mothers and dads suck too.

By this age, she should have already been to a play school.Do not delay any more. In play school the child gets opportunity to learn a lot from children of her age.

This is the right time to send her to the play school. She will be prepared for her pre-nursery classes. Mingle with the friends, her vocabulary improves and will be slowly adjusted to school environment. Best of luck to her.

Yes u can but it will be better if u send her at 3 because right now she is so small. She should develop her mind and many more things like speaking up. Speaking up will help her to express herself at least to her mam.

When she's three. If she's 2 1/2 now she should be ready to start preschool in the fall. They usually have to be potty trained so if she's not, it's time to work on it.
