You arent or you wouldnt have to ask that, not being smarty just facts, i know with me and my B/F we dont want a marriage but we know we are committed to be with one another for ever, the love is so strong and we have NEVER had a fight or argument at all, we aer so much alike there is nothing to fight about. The Committed part comes when they prove to you they are in it for the haul, i have proven to him and he has to me. When you get the proof in your heart you will know if you are in a committed relationship! good luck sweetie and hope its the real thing if its waht you want..but OPEN communication can keep it strong. Just ask his commitment level..and explain yours..Huggs, Bubbles

I fyou don't know, you're probably not in one. It's best not to assume this sort of thing... clarify it with your partner to make sure you're both on the same page. You can say something like, "I don't want to put any pressure on you or anything, I just want to make sure we're both on the same page - are we exclusive/monogamous?"
