You are very observant. There's no way America is ever going to win in Iraq . It's the same situation as Vietnam and will probably end the same way as Vietnam.

Americans have condemned Saddam Hussein as a dictator, but when he was running the country the people had food, electric, water, and gas. Now they're lucky to have any of those items. It's no wonder that they are very hostile to Americans.

This was a war about oil. Many people have gotten rich off of this war. While the middle class of America is being driven into poverty By this senseless war.

Texxon and What So Proudly We Halliburton are progressively making more and more money. And don't forget the progress in profits for the arms industries. The troops are puppets for Wall Street parasites; they have no excuse for not knowing better. If they think they will be appreciated by right-wing businessmen when they apply for civilian jobs, Timothy McVeigh thought so too. Will these Nazi-Con troops repeat what the Germans did after feeling unappreciated when they returned from World War One?

These people have been fighting each other in the guise of religion for hundreds and hundreds of years now. And to think anything is ever going to change is quit naive. The whole region is not worth one single American life. Period. Now they want nuclear wepons...I say let's give them some. That region would make a great parking lot. Ever notice that the only time "we" are interested in thier walfare is when an "oil-man" is President? It's oil for American lives, don't let anyone kid you.

the thing is, we have to increase troop levels due to the increased violence in Iraq. it's just common sense. you wouldnt want to play basketball with 1 on 5 would you?? the violence has increased because these Islamic extremists are getting scared. they're finally realizing that we are not going away. and that really ticks 'em off. i believe that this is just a last ditch effort on the part of Mid-East terror organizations.

So, tell us how your continued vocal opposition to the war, and constant attack on President Bush is considered, by any objective consideration, to not be considered a help to our enemies?

...I'd prefer about twice as many as the estimate. But then again, I've actually been there and understand the job that we have to do quite well, unlike 99% of the posters here and the media..
