OK, I once read in a book that ESP is perfectly normal and natural, that everyone has this ability. I thought is was EXTREMELY cool and tried to find it in me. I more or less succeeded, and I was able to get a light feel for future events at will) and have found a secret method which uses ESP) to win lottery and crack codes. I was trying it, using it for about a year, until I found out that ESP is a power that comes from the Devil, and is a sin. Then, I quit. (I may have used it 2 or 3 times) but now I truly don’t use it any more. However, I now get quite a few feelings and premonitions.. I had them from childhood, but now I have more of them. I try to suppress them, but they can still come out.

WHAT DO I DO???????

What do you think it is when the prophets know things? Christ's birth was predicted by astrology. Turning water into wine is magic...these things are embraced by your religion...it wasn't until the KJV that all the stuff against it was put in due to the witch hysteria...calm down, everything's fine. Go play the lotto, give some of the money to your church if it makes you feel better...

So, you have the ability to predict the future now, and you can read minds and stuff? You have proof for this, do you? Because the Amazing James Randi has a million dollars to give to anyone who can offer evidence, under proper observing conditions (meaning you can't cheat), for ESP or any other kind of supernatural powers. So far, nobody has ever met even the preliminary criteria. ESP does not exist, it's a fantasy created in your very imaginative mind, and now you're blaming this nonexistent power on an equally nonexistent entity (Satan) and wanting forgiveness or help from another nonexistent entity (God). Humans certainly do have a knack for creating some interesting fantasy lives. Some people have to spend years indulging in peyote or ayahuasca to achieve what you did!

Like any other tool ESP can be used or misused. It is not inherently evil. If you truly have it, you are in a position to do more good than 99.9% of us. I wish I could train myself to do what you say you can do. If you can't find good applications for it contact me and I through and with you will become world renouned for the good we can accomplish. This is not in jest for I believe that Esp is real having used telepathy on two occasions.
Let's become famous.

No. And to all you ignorant so referred to as Christians, no longer all magic is witchcraft. and in no way all Christians have self assurance magic to be a sin. there are quite some sects, that well known that Solomon became a magician, Jesus became ordained and of the line of Melchizedek (the manager of Magic in some traditions and the being that ordained Abram). Magi gave presents to Jesus. i'd quite opt for to sparkling up that one and all Christians imagine magic is evil. Its in reality the wing nut fundies that be counted on order that do not even understand their bible or the historic past or way of existence of the human beings that it truly is about. They bypass off spouting Bible verse without even understanding any of the information or historic past or archeology behind it. the overall public of clergymen in Biblical cases were magi. a tremendous type of the former testomony (the Priestly writers) were wager what, Magi in the temple of Solomon. each and anytime you pray, you're doing magic. Theurology is only that. So all you Christians that pray to God and quite imagine it truly is going to impression any substitute favor to provide up doing so, reason wager what it truly is MAGIC! And in case you knew some thing about magic, you would possibly want to understand its a form of prayer to a particular Deity or angelic being. (it truly is if its severe magic and that i'm no longer likely to the contact upon the different form reason which will only open up an entire different can of worms). save in recommendations all you so referred to as Christians, decide no longer lest ye be judged.

i too have felt that i have had episodes of esp, and at one time, like you tried to harness it. trying to learn about these powers invariably led to witch craft and satainic or pagan practices. i now know that i am saved by the grace of god, and no longer try to use any powers as such. when i stopped trying to use the powersi thought i had, and abandoned the teachings that went withthem, they went away, or at least diminished severely. according to the bible, we should not mess with horoscopes or ouija boards or mediums of any sort, which are probably real, but definately come form the devil.
with all that being said, i doubt that you or i are prophets, but i still get deja vu, which i can almost alwyas specifically remeber having dreamt, as in r.e.m. sleep dreams, real life events, and occasionally get premonitions or gut feelings, and am sometimes right.perhaps this is coincidence, or nothing more than instinct or subconscious knowledge, but whatever it is i know that i am saved and not sinning when it happens. god speaks to people in different ways, and if you acknowledge him in all your ways, he will direct your paths. to attempt to contact for instance your dead uncle or an unkown spirit or psychic is clearly unbiblical, and like all other sins, forgivable if you truly repent. as far as anything else, if someone feels that god is directing them to a certain decision, who is anyone else to judge and say that didnt come from god?put all of your trust in him.

Where did you 'learn' that ESP is of the devil or sinful? In my experience it is a gift of God. Satan's counterfeit would involve mediumship. What you describe is simply a natural ability that some people have, no matter WHAT their religious background. Worry less about it, and send me some of those winning numbers!

ESP isn't a sin, how you were using it was a real bad idea,& now you have to pay.If you're telling the truth ,& I don't believe you are, your greedy ,selfish ways are going to send you to your GODS hell. You need to make amends. Give back ALL the money you cheated for ,distroy the codes & never use them again. tThanks for the points

The gifts of God are irrevocable, meaning that we all inherently have some of them. It is our choice to use them through Him, or use them for ourselves and thus, through Satan. Having what you call premonitions and feelings, I call discernment. It is a gift from God. Will you use it for Him or for yourself?? That is the question to determine whether you're sinning or not.

I have had those kind of feelings, mostly in regards to people, and I didn't understand them, but since I became a Christian I've tried to tune in and figure out what God wants me to do with it. Sometimes it's a word of knowledge that you're supposed to speak to that person about so God can do a work in them, sometimes it's a red flag warning you about something. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit you can learn how to use these gifts.

I remember as a kid having dreams that came true and I would tell a friend. She said I was making it up and I quit telling people.
Here's the thing. It can come from God OR it an come from Satan. I prayed that if it came from Satan to not let me do it anymore.
People like Sylvia Brow ARE getting their info from demons for sure!
Here's some scripture about this sort of thing;
"Let no one be found among
you who sacrifices his son or daughter in
the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens,
engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or
spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is
detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices
the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you."
(Deut. 18:10-12)
2 kings 23: 24 Furthermore, Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household
gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem. This he
did to fulfill the requirements of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had
discovered in the temple of the LORD. "
Lev 19:31, "'Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them.
I am the LORD your God. 'I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and
spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people.

Isaiah 8:19, "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and
mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the
living?
1 chronicles 10:13,"13 So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against
the LORD, because he did not keep the word of the LORD, and also because he consulted a
medium for guidance."
