a higher end used car will be more expensive to keep running in parts and labor. A lower end car wont be any less expensive in parts or labor, just less luxurious. look for A used car that has 20,000 miles on it or less. This will give you decent reliability for a few years. Be careful you don't buy a Lemon though. Ask the dealership for a car-fax report. Make sure you know what you want before you go out looking. Research on the Internet. For $11,000 you should be able to find a pretty good deal. Remember you can always walk away!

You could go to toyota or honda and get like a new or almost new civic, accord, or carrola for that price and if its a couple years old its no big deal because there are alot of those cars from the 80's still on the road and they are fairly nice cars as well and you can run them into the ground and they will keep going

a good usedcar will be best than a bad new one, ofcoarse.for reliability, and that is against my love for american cars, a jappanese car , like a honda, nissan ,subaro, will doit.and don't worry about ageing, for all the things in this world a year has 365 days.
