How far in advance are Girl Scout Cookies baked (a year, a month, etc.)?

they are mass produced like all packaged cookies - if you are wondering about there shelf life they are good un-opened up to a year.

The prices are negotiated individually with vendors by each council of girl scouts and then they are baked after the orders are taken.
