What happens if he doesn't show? Why would you show for a fight you're going to loose? It is quite a silly fable. I wouldn't pick a fight with Mike Tyson especially if he knew I was coming and said he'd beat me.
Satan probably has a sneak attack planed. While God is rallying the troops at Har Meggido Satan will be chilling out in Heaven.

Satan only knows what God allows him to know. God allows, several times in the Bible, to let Satan do certain things. This tests the faith of His true believers and to bring the faithful closer to Him.
God allowed Satan to test Jesus before He was crucified. God also allowed Satan to test Jesus in the wilderness. God allowed Satan to test Job as well.
I don't know if Satan knows. He's so arrogant and full of himself that he may not even be aware. Sorry to not give you anything else.

In the end time, when the adversary is identified, He will leave the religious places where He was bound, and make an all out, and final attempt, at His world government. This will be a totally irreligious government, though they will use the Lords name. The Anti-Christ.

Yes he knows he is supposed to lose, he just doesn't believe it. He knows that his time is short but he is hoping to get as much of the world on his side against God as possible in this short time.
"But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!" - Revelation 12:12

I really do believe satan is god's little *****. If god is the creator of heavens and earth, and god created satan first not humans, satan has gotta be gods little *****.
It just another way of saying we are abolutely insignificant to god.

Yeah - he's probably read the book. Which might explain why he's always in kind of a "pissy" mood. Of course, being who he is, he may stubbornly refuse to believe it until it actually happens.

It's propaganda. Remember who supposedly wrote the Bible.
Do you think that the USA would go into a war saying that they will lose?
It's the same thing really.

Yes, and that is precisely why in the end times he is working especially hard to deceive mankind so that he can take as many to hell with him as he possibly can.

Oh yes he does. That's why he is working so hard to take us down with him before the time comes.
