Ok so i straighten my hair alot and I have never heard of a heat protector until recently. Why do you need one? I straighten my hair all the time with my ceramic straightener and it comes out beautifully! It has dulled over the years, but it still looks nice when i do it.

So why should i use a heat protector? What kind if any should I use? And do they come in shampoos?

this just keeps your hair from severe damage that heat causes your hair. I use this and it lasts a long time too

I use the CHI shampoo and Infra treatment(its like conditioner). They are heat protectant. Then I use the CHI Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray. You can also use the oil called CHI Silk Infusion that will help strenghten your hair.

a heat protector protects your hair from the heat of hairdryer or straightners (because they cause split ends and dry your hair out)
