I hope somebody could help me on this? For around 3 months I have been having stitch like pains in my upper to middle right hand side under my rib cage & have since become increasingly anxious about it to the point where it is occupying most of my thoughts. I have been on diet since Aug 06 which was very low fat & low carb and have lost a significant amount of weight, I am now however just eating healthy not quite so restricted. When I excersise which I genrally do in a morning I end up with stitch once I start any areobic activity which I do not understand has I have not eaten. I have been to the docs about this numerous times & they do not feel there is anything wrong & I have also had an abdominal ultrasound which didnt show anything but I am still getting the pains on & off everyday short & quite sharpe my docs feel that they are being caused my anxiety but I am not convinced, I am 28 years old & have 2 small children the youngest being disabled any advice would be appreciated.

I get this sometimes...usually during and sometimes again after a run. It is like a stitch-type pain and I think I should be able to feel something just under the ribcage but when I try to feel what's there I can't feel anything. I'm completely fit and healthy and I put it down to a bit of irritation in the muscles between the ribs (intercostal muscles). The thing to ask yourself is...when you feel the pain do you otherwise feel fine. If it were serious you would feel unwell in other respects. Don't worry about it anymore...you have had an ultrasound so your liver (which is around that area) is clearly fine as they would have picked this up easily if it was causing the problem. I carry on running though my 'stitch'...and normally forget about it. A good way to relieve it though if it does stop your excercise is to stretch upwards and over to your left to give the area a good old loosen up.

properly something could pass any way on your transport extremely if it is your first. definite you may paintings up till you're due or till you pass into exertions, that wont harm you basically will make you greater drained. as quickly as toddler is born in spite of if it is a vaginal delivery that has no issues then the very soonest you've got the capacity to return is after 2 weeks or maybe that is pushing it, you would be way too drained. whilst i exchange into pregnant I have been given a great hematoma down there from pushing my son out too quickly and could slightly walk for a week not to show paintings or do college. I had to be off for a month and that exchange into the very minimum. My mom took 6 weeks off with one brother (vaginal delivery) and eight weeks off together with her emergency C-section. you basically under no circumstances comprehend which way it is going to pass. i might say a minimum of three weeks yet objective greater for 4.

It is due to Unbalanced Vital Energy in your body. There is no medicine to treat it. Appoach a skilled acupuncturist. Many times it goes away automatically.

Sounds like stress, or are you breathing right when your exercising? Holding your breath while exercising can cause this
