She would say this when she thought she looked a bit of a mess, hairwise and clotheswise. Just wondered who exactly Granny Much was. Lol!! Hope someone can help.

A Mutch is a linen cap that was worn by very old women.I assume therefore that to look like Granny Mutch you would have to look quite old.

Can't find it anywhere - sounds like a family saying, a saying that only means something to family members

Is this a Scottish phrase?
I always thought it was spelt "Mutch" but really don't know.
