Have grandma help you plan for your graduation party, and all the details, she is concerned for your future and has good reason to be. Start with preparing an invitation list and then decide where to have you graduation party at, let grandma work out all the details, and you contrate on you school work. Best Wishes!

Ask her to buy the car now while keeping it under her name. If you don't keep your part of the deal, well... she can just sell the car.

If you want to sound like you are dead serious about this, offer to reimburse her for her losses (depreciation) if you do in fact have to sell it.

PS: Talk to her often. Discuss with her what you've learned in school for the day. You might even come accross some historical events that happened back in her day. That should be enough proof that you are into it. As an added bonus, I'm sure she'll appreciate that you seem to be enjoying learning new things.

Ask her to give you the car for a week and then show her your grades! If you got good grades while driving her car she'll notice that you've been keeping your word and you're responsible.
