EXERCISE! EXERCISE! EXERCISE!, find your target heartrate for your age/sex/weight, mine is 140-150 for fat burn, then do a minimum at that heart rate everyday.
DIET! DIET! DIET! pay attention to what you eat.
if you burn more calories than you consume you will lose weight.

The best way to keep off the weight you have lost is to find the balance between caloric intake and caloric burn.

good luck.

Restrict your kilojoule intake to 5500 kj's a day.(4.5 kj equals one calorie) If your a man stick to atleast 7200kj a day.
Eat about 5 or 6 small meals a day-every 2.5 to 3 hours to keep your metabolism going.
Drink 2 to 3 liters of water a day.
Avoid unrefined carbs like the plague-white bread, white rice, sugar etc, rather opt for high fiber, low GI oats and health bread(it will say low GI on the packaging).
Scientific studies have shown that omega 3 rich foods actually HELP you loose weight (plus it's great for your skin) so eat Salmon, Olive oil, seeds, nuts etc (just don't overdo it-30 g omega 3 fat a day is adequate)
Try doing some exercise-studies have shown that even though cardio is great , resistance training (as in weight training) speeds up your metabolism even more during a longer period of time and you can reshape your body with resistance training-not true about cardio (cardio just makes you lose weight).
Avoid obvious unhealthy foods, goes without saying-if you are totally clueless read the nutritional information of the foods you eat, avoid foods with more than 6 grams of fat per 100g and don't eat more than about 1000kj at one time-key word is frequent, SMALLER meals!
Strive for a real change in your general health-don't eat simply to loose weight and stay skinny, it won't last, it's about life changes-attitude changes-think also of eating for a healthy heart, skin, bones, hair etc etc.
GOOD LUCK-if you really need help go see a dietitian so that he/she can give you a detailed, elaborate eating plan-that way your not left to your own devices!

To get rid of the weight, eat about 500-1000 calories less than you do now, and make sure they are healthy foods. Exercise about 4x a week and workout about 2-3x a week. Cardio for about an hour, and workout for about the same. Do hi reps and light weight when working out. Drink plenty of water. You should lose about 1-2 pounds a week. And when your body gets to its right weight, then you should be fine. Just be sure to eat the right amount of calories a day. You can find that out on any website. And you will get used to counting calories after a couple of weeks of doing it. Just keep exercising and good luck!! I hope it works out!!!

Are u willing to work hard to keep it off for good? Or are u just going to excersie one day and quit? If u are going to excerise for good to keepweight off.....first, you could dance to music. Heres a good choice:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrwwrGcfVzk

Its called "I beilieve" and thought this song would work good 4 you to inspire u to work hard for ur goal :)

Dancing for 30 min burns 270 calories. Its fun and u can dance to music and do any moves u want as long as ur doing something. Excersie everyday for at least 25 minutes three times a week.

I also heard in a magizine that if u jump rope everyday for two months for 10 minutes a day only....you will lose 20 pounds but u have to do it everyday! And not miss one day at all...its fun, easy, and you'll lose weight. I think that if u can have fun and excersie at the same time, you will be willing to work hard and have fun too. I am a dancer and I dance for at least an hour at reasharal on Tues and Fridays. So u can take up dancing classes. Good luck :D

The best way is not necessarily the fastest. Diet and exercise are obviously answers, but discipline is required for each of those. Eating food is sometimes a way to compensate for self esteem issues, another issue to be aware of.

There are hundreds of ways, but the best one is that which works for you. Asking here is a great start, continue the research with a positive attitude, and don't wait until tomorrow to begin your changes!

Good luck.
