Which ones are the top three armies on the world?

I mean their number of soldiers active, experience on art of war, more victories less defeats, power of fire, etc...
my list would be like 1- USA 2- PRChina 3- Türkiye

Well if you go off experience no body has anywhere near as much as the British. Britain has an incredible record aswell with no home defeats since 1066 and only 1 defeat on the whole in the war of Independence with America although that was only down to the fact we were fighting France at the same time. We are let down by our equipment but thats it. In every other aspect we are the best and not one nation comes close. My list goes as

Britain
USA
Russia

Britain is best the other 2 are to just fill the gaps.

BTW turkey is nowhere near as powerful as Britain no matter how many soldiers it has.

I know I am biased but at least I admit my embarrassment.

I think it goes without question the British Army stays as the finest in the world. It is the model on which most other armies have based their armies particularly their special forces. It can achieve victories without needing to deploy large quantities of manpower and has an excellent record in urban warfare.

My second choice would be that of the USA but this is based on the massive manpower and firepower that they can call on although their record on strategic tactics has been questionable in determining the course of events following the campaigns in which they were involved. The jury is still out on their capabilities in dealing with urban warfare.

Thirdly the army of China, again, because of the massive resources that they could bring to bear in battle though they have mainly been deployed to subjugate their own population. Their record against my earlier choices of armies justify their third position.

You have asked a question in which very few of the people on these forums would have any real knowledge on the subject so like all the others I can only resort to an opinion.

The British Army is still considered the best Army in the world as they do not rely on conscripts or national service like the rest of them do, they are trained by the best, well disciplined, the only thing we are lacking is the correct kit for certain situations, the Armericans get all the best kit but there is no system they dont even have to sign for it they can just walk out of the armoury with a rifle and not even sign for it.
I was in the british army for 10 years and served in kosovo with the americans they were all great guys but treated badly and there didnt seem to be a good system in place which you need most importantly for the overall battle.

Israel's army is also very good.

Russian special forces are well trained, but their regular units are rubbish.
