If you want to lose 9 lbs, there are approx. 3500 calories in 1 lb. so you would need to create a deficit of 31,500 calories to lose that much weight. Divide that by 21 days (3 weeks) and you have to lose 1500 calories a day, which seems a bit too unrealistic. You would have to starve yourself, and work out double, to lose the weight. You are going to have to stretch this goal out a bit more, like over 5-7 weeks. To maintain your current weight, you need 1100 calories a day. That is cutting it way too close. There are other solutions. My friends have had colonics (enemas) and lost 10-20 pounds instantly (built up fecal materials)

if you cut your calories by a few hundred and stay active you should be able to lose 9lbs in 2 or 3 weeks but unless you are like 5ft and under you don't really need to lose any at all.

You need to actually eat something instead of dieting Ms. Ritchie.
