Why does my computer 'Time out when I download a large golf download?

Its probably not your computer at fault.

If you download a large file then there are often interuptions and breaks and your computer will wait until the transfer of data restarts. If it waits too long then it gives up. Thats called a 'timeout'.

Sounds like your internet connection is a bit slow or the server providing the data is busy.

Try doing the download at different times. If you catch it when its not busy then you might find it works better.
