What treats can I find around the kitchen to feed my budgies?

Basically anything other then avocado and chocolate.
Here are some ideas that my birds like:
Cut up apples, NO seeds
Romaine lettuce
celery
orange
strawberries, same as apple
list goes on, good luck

Treats can consist of hard boiled egg (chopped), brown bread, granola, unsweetened cereals, raw nuts (chopped UNSALTED!!), corn, alfalfa sprouts, spinach, broccoli, peeled carrot,iceberg lettuce,(washed thoroughly). Apples, oranges, bananas, strawberries, parsley, peaches and spinach.
Remember, small portions of a variety of treats is best.You can also plant some Budgie seed mix in a little pot in your kitchen and feed the green from that. NEVER feed Cabbage, Advocado,Chocolate.Plums, lemons, limes, and members of the cabbage family are bad for them as well.

my budgie loves apple but you will have to peel it first and only give a small piece once a week as he could get diarrhoea,lettuce if u go to a pet shop they love millet spray .

My budgies like eating breadcrumbs, and lettuce. So give these a try.

My Kiwee, He loves fresh Apples and he absolutely loves peanuts! He just goes wild over them. Also cinnamon sticks, bananas, mandaran oranges, grapes, any type of fresh fruit or veggie, (they love sweet peas!) Just so long as it isn't avacado! and don't give dairy in excess.

budgies like lots nof fruits and veggies, but, they can have almost anything you can eat, except chocolate and avacado.
i find that parakeets/budges LOVE dried hot chillies or chillie flakes.

My bird's favorite treats are:
plain popcorn (no butter, oil, or salt)
wheat bread
brown rice
warm veggies
cooked pasta

Potato Chips
Do NOT feed them meat, or they will become cannibols

You can give them apples that are cut up, pear, lettuce, etc. They love wet lettuce.
