What if a person intentionally blew up a dam with the idea of drowning babies in a town, and succeeded in doing so? Would you consider him evil? If so, then why it is ok for god to do the same thing in the flood?

beta_fish: Then he is even more evil because he allowed the man to release the flood. God is not above human definitions of moral behavior. If you cannot tell me that drowning people is ALWAYS WRONG no matter whether you or god does it, then you are one sick dude.

No, no, no. God exists outside of morality.

God can kill anybody because he is God.

We cannot because we are not

God giveth and god taketh away.

God is an Indian-giver

You can't taketh away because that would be stealing.

To question GOD is a foolish thing. God said that in all the world at the time of the flood ONLY 8 People were righteous! Only 8, out of what is estimated to have been thousand upon thousands of people living at that time. The wickedness was so great that GOD regretted having created man. BUT he saved the 8 people ( Noah, Noah's wife , Ham Shem, Jatheph, Noan's 3 sons and they each had 1 wife) that were righteous.

To compare God and humans is incomprehensible. God is of the divine nature. Think about it the next time you see God's bow in the sky , because HE will be thinking of us., and his coventant he made .

Because God create man to love Him. At that time man did not love Him and still does not truly love Him, but what did God do after He did that? He made a covenant with man to never wipe us out like that again. So, God is a good God. If it were not for God then you would have never been created.

Because God was God, and everyone in Noah's time was evil. Killing people that had multiple chances to obey God, and a crazy man who kills innocent babies, are two different things. Yes, I would consider this man to be evil! But God? He wants to destroy the evil, and he did and does. So to everyone else? I would stay FAR away from the darkness!

Evil means to cause harm to people. It is not always sin, especially when it comes from God. So that is why is it ok for God to do evil at times.
2Ki 21:12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

I can't judge Gods plan. It's his dam and his babies. He knows the plan better than I.

Your logic, as usual, is full of holes.

For those who believe in God, EVERY death is God's doing, as is every birth. Your question is irrelevant because you are applying human morality out of context.
