it depends on who gives it to you. if it's a close friend or family member, tell them thanks but you already have one. ask for the receipt so you can return and purchase something you can use. if it's not a close friend or family member, say thanks and re gift - just be careful you remember who gave it to you.

No, graciously accept the gift and say nothing. You can pass one on to someone else later if one of the doners goes out of your life.
