The ephedrine sold at gas stations is mostly herbal...the effects are the same as the synthetic, dylated lungs (for easier breathing, asthmatics), a boost of energy from an increased heart rate but after it wears off you just have to take a nap...not as strong as the synthetic though. Eventhough it is illegal, it is still sold over the internet.
