I rather think Noah did have kangaroos on his ark. But they all probably got killed by humans later and the only ones survived got confined to Australia :D

Or it could have been an issue of evolution.

Noah must have had an animal that is the ancestor of kangaroos, since theyre marsupials.

Assuming that the Bible is correct, one could also assume there were some on Noah's ark, as they are still here. And they aren't confined to Australia, there are various versions in Africa and Asia as well.

After Noah the human race was dropped to almost nothing. But as Noah's offspring had offspring of their own and the group began to get too large, they went looking for more places to live and began to spread out. The various groups of humans probably took a few of their favorite animals with them and settled them in their various areas that we see today.

No, kangaroos cannot swim. They also cannot walk backwards, how about that? Although I think tree kangaroos can probably walk backwards, and they might be able to swim. Tree kangaroos are odd in that all kangaroos lived in trees long ago, then they all left, then tree kangaroos went back to the trees. They don't know what they want.
