Is it ok to wear a very light purple and silver dress in February to a formal. Do I have to wear dark since it is winter?

Yes, just as long as the color isn't bright. Silver is a winter color anyway.

It sounds like a pretty dress. It should work for winter! I don't think you need to stick to navy blues and blacks and forest greens. Maybe add a little white to your outfit and you'll look like a snow queen!

You can wear whatever color you want as long as it doesn't appear to be a summer dress. Should be good and you'll be pretty and stand out!

light silvery colors can be wintery, like frost or snow. also try ice blue
