i think we need a sepearate forum for atheists...then they can complain among themselves how god is imaginary

Oh I believe your god might exist (not will all the attributes you give him though), but I don't worship him.
You mistakenly assume that all "non-believers" are Atheists. Not so. I have every right to post here because I do have a religion, it just isn't Christianity.
Besides that, Atheists do have the right to be here as well, it's called free speech.

Actually, atheism is a part of religion and spirituality, so they really are in the right place if they want to talk about their beliefs.
But, at the same time, they should be respectful in doing so, just like everyone else should be.
Besides, I don't doubt that if there were an atheist section that fundies wouldn't go in there and try to witness and save the atheists' souls.

I believe in God. I really don't care if Atheists don't believe in Him. I can't, for the life of me figure out why they care if I believe or not. I'm not trying to drag them, kicking and screaming to the altar for baptism. It sounds like they feel the need to recruit some new fellow travelers to Hell with them. Maybe they are afraid the will be there alone.

Some athiests can be pretty rude and disrespectful here, BUT so are the religious people- It goes both ways!
People come here asking questions or wanting opinions about religion, so we answer them. That's what this place is for!! If you don't like the responses, than don't post questions.

There are many spiritual traditions that are either atheistic or where any question of god is irrelevant. Theism does not equal religion.

Why are you all so bothered by atheists? You're supposed to be surer of your beliefs than we are. You're all going to heaven. Someone loves you. Surely having atheists occasionally pointing out, usually in response to some inflammatory comment about atheists (like this one), that your logic is full of holes, isn't going to hurt?
Oh, I get it - they want us to leave so they can talk about us without interference - like in church.
In that case - YOU go somewhere else!
