How come I can't hear anything when I play a dvd through windows media player? I turn up the volume and the movie plays fine, I just don't have any volume. What's wrong and how can I fix it?

Go to options, look for the DVD tab, select the button advanced
make sure the volume controls are correctly set

there many be some corrupted dll file so try to install media player again it may work.....and also download some good codec like k lite

Make sure you plugged your speaker into right connector.

make sure you have a codec to play dvd..................thenn go to options then dvd then go check your soundcard its probly not compatible......
