I have a lack of energy, so i eat alot of protein, egg whites, chicken. and cut out alot of the simple carbs, like white rice, white bread.

Taking B-vitamins, or a multi-vitamin also help.

Walk when you can, it helps to give you energy.

Taking suppliments for energy only hurts your body. It can destroy your metabolism because it forces the body to speed up. To get more energy naturally, try adding more fruits and veggies to your diet, drinking more water, and cutting out alot of the soda and sugar. Decrease the amount of starches and carbs you eat as well, and increase your protein. You'll feel much better in a week, and have more energy than you know how to handle.

Is your iron low? Maybe you need to take iron pills. And you should monitor how much sugar you eat in a day. I found that my body was out of whack when it came to sugar. I would eat something with sugar and I would want to sleep soon after. I have to be careful when and where I eat things that contain sugar. Try eating snacks with protein like nuts. It may help if you are having trouble with sugar and energy.

Drink water. Research has shown that your body will go into fatigue mode when it is being dehydrated. Drink at least your 8 8oz glasses a day and that should help some.
