British Sailors cured scurvy by supplementing their diets with Lemon and Limes, to their diets but how do Inuits or other Arctic Circle denizens deal with scurvy?

They eat **all** parts of the animals they hunt ... particularly organ meats such as the liver which is a good source of vitamin C. That way they get enough vitamins to prevent nutritional deficiency diseases such as scurvy.

I doubt they suffered from it because they eat fresh meat, seaweed and berries when available. The sailors only ate salted meat and biscuit and needed the supplement of fruit.
