If you believe in creationism how old do you think human really are?

From a scientific point of view, we know that first homo-sapiens ( not early humans ) are about 18 to 25 thousand years old. I personally believe thats within reason since cultures like India China, Eygpt, Japanese, and maybe even Inca are around 5500 to 10000 (India, and Eygptian mostly). The historical evidence is all over the world, but what I'd like to know is how old do Evangelicals in fact all conservative christians believe we are.


Oh and by the way I'm Indian so I know my history, we keep records all the way to the early Aryans 10,000 years ago.

I like the fact that we evolutionists can say "we know" and back it up with evidence, whereas creationists can say "we believe" and blush slightly.

According to the bibles time table, humans have been on the earth for over 6,000 years.

The bible does not say the earth is 6000 years old. The planet earth has been here for who knows how long. The creative days are when God started making the earth habitable. Man was not created until the sixth creative day. We do not know how long each creative day was. The bible does say that to God a "day is a 1000 years" People will say "in my day" which is no set time. We are now in his rest day or seventh day and it has last over 6000 years. So possibly each creative day lasted over 6000 years.

There is no proof that any type of ape/man existed. That is a theory, with no proof in the fossil record. But yet the fossil record follows along with the Bible's order of creation. Whether there is proof or not, people will believe what they want to believe.
