I raise ducks to feed to my reticulated Cambodian python who is almost 18 feet now. And she loves ducks and pythons will eat anything that moves when they are hungry. She eats three or four ducks a month and maybe a dozen rats. I live in a small efficfiency and all the rats, ducks and the big python leaves little room for me and my cot. But my vet says ducks are a type of bird just like chickens. I may try to feed Sweet Pea some chickens for awhile. They are birds too. Sweet Pea prefers birds.
