8 oz per day. The best form to drink it in is called matcha. That's powdered green tea that you mix with water.

I'm not certain myself. But drinking green tea isn't quite as good as drinking plain water, but it's close. The reason is that green tea has caffeine. Concerning the question of when is too much green tea, is when you start feeling too buzzed from caffeine. Also the amount of caffeine varies from green tea, to green tea. Some people tell me that there are certain green teas that have more caffeine than coffee, but I have never ran across any of that. I think I probably have tried more green tea out than alot of Americans, but that's just a guess. A green tea that doesn't have much caffeine is genmaicha. The only thing I know is that you should search for the greens that say they are low in caffeine, or ask a tea shop owner about the caffeine level of a certain type of green. Also in my experience most roasted green teas tend to have less caffeine. I hope this helps. If I wasn't tired I would look up somethings, like how green tea caffeine is from what I hear, different from some other types of caffeine, but I need to go to sleep.

Also there is always decaf green tea.

Green tea extract is better for weight loss then drinking green tea.

Wiki has interesting charts at the end of the page about how much caffeine green tea tends to have.

Green tea can't be a substitute for plain water.

Since most of green tea contain caffeine that dehydrates you, you can't completely replace a water intake with it.

If you like green tea that much you need to go for a decaf type. Total volume of water that average human must drink around 1 galon a day. So count how many glasses of decaf tea do you drink a day and ad it to your water intake. :)

I hope this will help.

well, I just learned that caffeine is really bad for weight loss
because it builds up in your liver, so all the green tea I have
been drinking didnt count because it was full of caffeine
