Rousch always has a high chance of winning and being in the chase and now that Mark Martin has retired i think there will be more focus on the up and coming drivers like Carl Edwards and Jamie McMurray since Biffle and Kenseth already have there teams situated.

Yes. In 2005, he had more points after the chase started because he won 2 of the last 10 and Tony Stewart won 0. He tied with Biffle for 2nd that year. They had a lot of trouble with the new Fusion, but that car will be better and with the old crew chief back, I think Carl will get in the chase and have a chance to win it all.

Roush racing is a contender every year. Carl has as much talent and skill as any other driver in Nascar. Now that he is getting back into a comfort level with a crew chief that he has had success with and with the resources that the cat-in-the-hat will provide for him, I believe that Carl has just as much of a chance as anyone else.

Sure he has a chance, but the competition is very strong. I predict Tony Stewart wins his 3rd championship in 07. Go Smoke!

I think so. It is really hard on the drivers to take a crew chief who is working and give them someone else. I am glad he got his crew chief back.

I hope that he is not your favorite driver. To answer your question, No, he does not have a shot at the title. There are too many other drivers with more talent and better crews.
