I'm not a nutritionist, but I know that too much of that stuff is bad for you. That stuff has triple the amount of caffiene as coffee and in addition loads you up with sugar and citric acid and all that stuff. I only drink it during emergencies, like making a long drive and needing to stay awake. Otherwise, I stick to nature's lubricant: Water. Get your energy from eating a healthy diet of meats, veggies and grains.

Water is the best, as it is pure. But look at the ingredients, see how much of what it contains. then decide what amount to drink.
I would say 4 was too many, but it depends on how active you are.
If you are active, have a high carb food opposed to an energy drink. If you aren't active, try usual fizzy drink, but try to limit it.

Depends on the drink...if it is loaded with sugar and caffeine, then of course it is bad for you. There are some energy drinks that can be benefitting out there..just check it out! :) But of course, too much of something is never a good idea...

Well what they do is amp up your system by speeding up your heart rate. Caffeine in large dosages isn't good for our system. One energy drink is equal to four cups of coffee if not more. So that's like 20 cups of coffee a day you are taking in.

Check the label.
What does one can provide in terms of daily recommended allowances for fiber, vitamins, protein etc?
Use that as a guide to determine what is right with you taking into consideration the amount of food you eat throughout the day as well.

The large amount of sugar and caffiene are bad for you, and only cause you to "crash", and drink even more of them.
