he is in a relationship, he says she is obsessive, too young and his friends talked him into going out with her. This has been over a year and I would never tell him i have feelings or show them but I do. He is amazing and I hate seeing him miserable. I know I shouldnt get involved, but what can I do?

Sometimes, as stupid as it is, people stay in a situation they don't like because they feel like its better than being alone and don't think they have other options. If I were you, I'd definately let him know he has other options.

You answered your own question. I have found over time that I can always make a situation worse, and there are very few things i can get involved in. I never know what is best for someone else, and not matter what I do, if they do not hurt bad enough to change, they wont. He is responsible for his own happiness.

It is rarely too late to get involved in something, but it can always be too early. Also consider your motivation before telling him something. If it is for his benefit, then most definitely do not say anything. If it is to take care of yourself, then consider it long and hard before saying anything.

Expressing your feelings towards him isn't bad as long as that isn't a reason for you to break up his current relationship. It may be wake up call for him, that there are better girls out there and he is still wanted. To step into this relationship was his own responsibility. he can say his friends pushed him, but he dates he to when his friends are not around. It's time for him to make up his mind and not you doing that for him.If he's meant to be with you, it will, so wait and see or look somewhere else.

He may be wonderful but you are wise beyond your years for not getting involved. If matters are like you say they are, he will be free for the taking soon enough. Stick close to him and comfort him as best you can without getting into it. He may realize that you'd be better for him or they might have the break up of the century but he will be free of her in due time and you can be there for him. Be patient, good things come to those who wait.

Respect his relationship with his girlfriend. Soon enough he will realize that she isn't the one for him. So just be his friend and when he needs to vent be their for him.
