Its a small sound making machine that I use to fall asleep. It changes the volume on me by itself. It goes from soft to abruptly loud and then back to soft again about every 5 minutes and its annoying the heck out of me. I have to have it to fall asleep and dont know how to fix it... any good handy men out there can walk me through having to fix it? I dont want to buy another one, I just want this one fixed. Please let me know. thanks. angel

Angel, I unfortunately don't know how to fix that problem myself. However, I have several suggestions that you might try:

1. Contact Homedics. You can call 1-800-HOMEDICS and tell them about your problem. Another way to contact them is to go to their website (www.homedics.com) and click on the "Consumers Relations" link. It will take you to a page where you can send an email describing your problem and they will email a response back to you. I am not sure how old or new your sound machine is, but I believe it has a one year warranty. Maybe if you beg and plead enough, they will take pity on you and send you a replacement if they can't fix the problem you have with your current one.

2. Another "suggestion" is to purchase a new one and then return the broken one to the store. Yes, this is not an "ethical" solution and I am not necessarily advocating it. Just merely putting it out there for your consideration...

Hopefully, someone will reply with a way to actually fix your sound spa and you can ignore my suggestions.
