Not so much a practical joke but... Next time you are standing behind someone at a cash machine and they look at you suspiciously before they enter their PIN, wait for them to enter it and say "Oh, that's a nice easy number to remember". Wait for the look of panic on their face.

1) Super glue a quarter to the sidewalk, people will go crazy trying to pick it up
2) Flush the toilet when someones in the shower
3) If your sink has one of those sprayer things, tape the handle down when no one is looking
4) If someone is sleeping in a four-poster bed, string yarn all around the bed before they wake up
5) Classic: Put somone's hand in a cup of warm water when asleep
6) Get a pitcher of ice cold water and pour it over the top of a shower while your victim is showering
7) Another Classic: When your victim is sleeping, place shaving cream/whip cream in their hand. Then tickle their face.
8) Put a fake (but realistic) snake in someones bed
9) Place some fake vomit in the sink, when this stuff is wet it looks amazingly real
10) Tape a dollar to some invisible fishing line, just before somebody grabs it pull the dollar away
