Muslim men circumsise because it is from the covenant of monotheism taken by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham in western tradition) - though it is an extremely widespread practice amongst Muslims Im not even sure if all scholars consider it obligatory (though Muslims treat it as such - a Muslim will not pray or fast but will insist his son be circumsised!!) and it's certainly not a condition for being a Muslim

Islam started in the Middle East and among the sand, having shortage of water they could not clean themselves in every nook and cranny, thus sand used to get between the skin and used to make men cry, women cry also when making love, thus the best way was to cut the offending skin.

All the religions that started from there, christinity, judism etc make men cut off, to save precious water resources. Hindus have a lot of rivers and can have the luxury of dipping themselves and cleaning their parts properly and no need to cut off any skin.

Anyway, finally men were born complete with all the skin, was the maker mad that he /she gave that skin. If it was supposed to cut off, men would not have had it.

When the men die and go back to the maker, they will be asked
"I sent you a complete man, where did you leave part of you, the skin" what will men reply to that.

If God wanted,He would have cut it before we are born. And we have no right to make that big decision for a baby, who can not tell his opinion and fight back.
