Cadbury's has more chocolate in than Hershey's and I think tastes much better.

However neither rate highly when compared to mainland European chocolate such as Swiss, Belgian and even French. These have more cocoa solids and you can tell

Hershey Vs Cadbury

Cadbury!

I live in Australia and I eat Cadbury brand chocolate quite often. It's delicious! I love their milk chocolate but also fruit and nut and snack chocolate which has flavoured fillings such as strawberry, pineapple, mandarin etc inside. Delicious! I also love Roses chocolates made by Cadbury in a box.

We don't get Hersheys over here in Australia but I don't understand how it could possibly be any better than cadbury chocolate which is the best (I also like Lindt swiss brand chocolates but they are a bit too creamy and rich..not to mention unhealthier than cadbury chocolate due to the high fat content present).

I have a feeling Hersheys would be similar to Nestle brand chocolate which is still very nice. I just have a soft spot for Cadbury chocolate made in Australia.

This is a fact. When we were in Malaysia waiting for a bus to pick us up recently, I bought a cadbury brand dairy milk chocolate bar. I had some of it but it tasted different to what I got in Australia. It was made in Malaysia whereas the cadbury we consume is made in Australia. There was a different flavour somehow. Maybe the ingredients used were'nt as good (inferior). I like the cadbury chocolate made in Australia better. I was surprised at the difference in flavour of supposedly the same product.

Anyway, Cadbury all the way!
All the way from Australia..G'Day mate..just kidding, we're not all like that in Australia, we're actually surprisingly civilised (I can't speak for everyone in Australia of course!).

Anyway, have a great day! It's 12:24am (at night/just past midnight) right now..I'd better get to bed..have a great day or night (whatever the time is in your part of the world).

What a good question! I think you are right. Geography is going to make a difference, but not 100% of the time. All the chocolate experts, though, would pick Cadbury's, or other European chocolates. My wife loves the Euro-chocolate, and is always buying it. Yet, for some dumb reason, I like Hershey's better. Maybe, being an American, because I grew up with it. It is slightly bitter, comparitively speaking, and is not as smooth or creamy. But I prefer it. I guess it is just a matter of personal taste.

Well Chris B that is a good question. However, it really does depend on what side of the atlantic you live. Us Limeys really prefer the sweet, dreamy taste of Cadbury's, whilst in the land of the free (?) they prefer the less sugary sensation of Hershey's. I prefer the former, because I was brought up on it and not Hersheys. However, I have tasted the US stuff and have to say it is pretty foul. C'mon, who else can produce something as great as the Flake and Dairy Milk! Plus, do Hersheys have a little theme park you can spend the day in? I think probably not.
Yours sincerely

Cadbury

Actually I prefer Hershey's, but the Carmelo's that some people think is a Hershey's product is actually a Cadbury's product. I think that there is a subcontract involved that allows Hershey's to sell Cadbury's products and vice versa.

I like Hersheys. Ive had cadburys before but its toooooooo sweet. This may seem odd, but I think the best chocolate is from Mars? The people that make Twix and Milky Ways. OMG its so good! =o)
