My boyfriend is addicted to halo 2. He has x box live and that is all he does. I've tried talking to him about it but he won't listen. He treats it like it's his profession. I told him last night that I thought the game was more important to him than me and he said it wasn't but that he wasn't gonna stop playing it for me either. What should I do?

kick his ***.

I like video games but if he isn't gonna go down on you every night and love on you all of the time, then what the hell is the point of having him around. Find a REAL MAN

Introduce him to World of Warcraft 3 or Beat him at Halo 2 and then he will never live it down and will stop playing that game immediately.

It can be a profession, actually. Maybe you should take some interest in the game and start playing it with him instead of making him choose between you. If you do that, it's possible that you could

a. Find something that you really enjoy as well. And...

b. Make your relationship better because he will see that you made the extra effort .

Go out with your friends without telling him where you are going and turn your phone off. When you get in, if he is still playing the game then tell him to get lost but if you have missed calls and texts asking where you are then you know you are still very important to him and bide your time until he has either completed the game or got bored with it.

Bare in mind though that if you stay then the next game that takes his fancy you will be shelved for that one too.

If it's this bad, you need to give him an ultimatum - you or the game.

My boyfriend was addicted to World of Warcraft.

Tell him that he needs to start spending some more time with you NOW, or he is going to lose you as a result.

Take him outside! Go for walks, go to the movies, go anywhere that silly video game isn't.

Next time, find a man. Not a boy. I'm 30, and I like video games too, but there has to be a limit. On EVERYTHING. Moderation IS the key.
