RE-3 - Individuals who are not qualified for continued Army service, but the disqualification is waiverable. Ineligible for enlistment unless a waiver is granted.

That is if the RE Code is just a 3, if it has an A,B or C beside the 3, then its different. The webpage listed below has all the codes.

I talked to a recruiter the day previous and that they stated in approximately 2 to 6 months they are going to be accepting reentry codes of three yet you ought to coach which you have replaced your methods in the previous they are able to furnish you a waiver. I have been given the comparable variety of reentry code and discharge, after being in for 5 yrs and 11 months.

It would be real hard with an RE-3. You would need a waiver (and prove that the circumstances that got you a RE-3 will not occur again).

an RE3 is waiverable BUT we'd need to know the SPD code and narrative reason for separation off of your DD214.

Some RE3s with certain SPD codes ARE NOT waiverable, such as discharges for drugs.

Im not quite sure. Your best bet would be to go and see a recruiter. Is a code 3 mental illness? Like PTSD or something of that nature? If so, then most likely not...

What were you discharged for the first time you served? What kind of discharge did you receive? Did they make you sign a bar to re-enlistment?

Do not take this the wrong way, please.

ARE YOU SERIOUSLY BRAIN-DEAD?

Why in the world would you want to re-up in the Army? I have no idea of what a re-entry code of 3 is but obviously it is meant to keep you out.

The Army let you out. Stay out for your own good.
