This is called BLEPHARITIS. Use 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in 1 pint cooled boiled water. Make it fresh daily. Use a clean cotton wool pad in this solution to wipe the flakes of skin from your eyelashes. Use a clean pad for the other eye.

I had the same problem growing up. I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do, but I would use Neutrogena T-Gel on my eyebrows. Then after showering I would wipe away all the skin flakes with a towel and use some clear aloe vera gel on my eyebrows to keep them from drying out and getting flakes. Hope this helps!

You need to see a doc as this could be a sign of an eye problem. In the meantime use dilute baby shampoo to wash your eye lids with several times a day.
