You'll have to upsize your radiator to help keep the larger engine cool. You'll have to change motor mounts and maybe alter your exhaust if you have headers. If the starter is not already on the engine you will have to go to a larger starter and you will probably need a different alternator. You may have to make some belt changes to accompany the changes in alternator, starter, etc. Lastly don't forget to install a new battery with a higher cranking amp capacity. The battery you have MIGHT turn over the engine now but it won't last long and will go out when you least expect it. Best to go ahead and replace it up front.

It can with modification and different trans, but you would be better with a 455 . Chevrolet used 454 but Olds,Buick and Pontiac used a 455 if your trans has the double bolt pattern you won't need to replace it. Also starter is on opposite side on 454 compared to 455 less wiring headaches.

You can make anything fit in any American rear wheel drive vehicle if you have the green to pay for it. I once saw a Chevelle with a weird Japanese 6 cylinder thing in it.

yes the cutless is the same as Malibu,, lots of work.doing it...exaust,cooling system electric, springs
