I've just been told I have it. It sounds more like a symptom than an illness. Can anyone explain it to me?

Let me clarify: I am psychotic and I am anxious, but I would expect anyone who was psychotic to be anxious, unless they think they delusions of grandeur.

So I don't really get the meaning of psychotic anxiety - it sounds like some kind of subspecies of anxiety. I didn't realise until after the appointment that I did not understand what was being said. Googling does not help either.

You're right, it DOES sound more like a symptom than an illness.

I can't explain it to you, because I have absolutely no idea what it is.

They didn't tell you when they diagnosed you?
