Convince yourself to go to sleep. Then just as you get sleepy tell your physical body to sleep (rest) but tell your spiritual body to stay awake. (Picture a silver cord that connects your spirit to your body) The OBE (out of body experience) will not take place unless you spirit knows that your body is safe.

Yeah, astral recall is a pain in the butt. I always experience it as a sense of falling, like I am walking down the street and suddenly tripped over something, only to immediately 'wake-up' (I do 99% of my traveling while asleep).

The limits of what you can do astrally is only limited by your ability to control your fear and/or sensations. Being astrally 'projected' is different than being 'human': learning the limitations is usually the hardest part. This is because although you are traveling in 'spirit' form, you are thinking with a human mind. So, when you see a wall, you think of it as a resolute barrier rather than a physical construct.

The 'fears' you experience come about because of your human 'connection'. Because you remain 'human' in your mind, although spiritually you understand that you can fly (and also extend the 'cord' that connects you to your human body with you as you go) being that high up can suddenly clash with your 'human' ideas, which state that a man cannot fly. So, you think that you will fall/hurt yourself, which is what causes the snap-back/recall.

Like anything else, its always better to start really really small and slow. Grow accostomed to being astrally present within the confines of a safe environment, and build your exploration from there. Sure, you can 'fly' around the room, but can you walk upside-down on the ceiling; can you slowly put your face through your wall and have it 'pop' out into the outside; can you concentrate enough to pick up an object astrally and bring it to you physically where you are? The development and desensitation of your skills can then be applied in levels going further and further away from your body.

Remember that line in the Matrix: "Some rules can be bent, others can be 'broken'," that applies to astral projection. Meditation is a good way of trying to harness your abilities, since many people usually astral project if they meditate long enough. That floaty, far-off feeling they get isn't just the endorphins being released in their brain.

Leave Your Body INSTANTLY With this new Astral Projection CD. The benefits of out-of-body exploration extend far beyond the limits of our physical senses and our intellect. After an out-of-body experience, many people report an inner awakening of their spiritual identity, a transformation of their self-concept. They see themselves as more than matter - more aware and alive. http://www.1automationwiz.com/app/?Clk=1406856

well, you can actually do some astral travelling training. first of all, you have to be fully concentrated on your breathing. then, imagine a mean of transportation that will help you move (a bubble, wings, and so on). get inside / put on your mean of transportation and jump, you will float and then you can go to anywhere you like. once you're there, enjoy yourself, but remember you always have to come back. try thinking about the same destination over and over during your trainings so that your astral body becomes aware it's got to follow your orders rather than ignoring them. do not change this routine until you are in complete control of your astral body. Once you're done (you will know, believe me) you may go anywhere you want. hope it's useful.

first off, check that it's real and you're not hallucinating. easy to do--go read a car license plate while astral traveling, then check it later.
and report back here pls
