All scripture and prophesies before Muahmmed are corrupt unless they agree with the Qu'ran that was given to Muhammed. No prophets will come after Muhammed. Muhammed is not anounced by God and only bears record of himself.Allah can not speak only what comes from Muahmmed and with Muhammed dead Allah must shut up....Isnt Muhammed greater than Allah if Allah can only speak through him and now he is dead?

Emmortal that is simply not true no prophet of God including Christ aid all the previous words of God and his prophets are corrupt and all words after me are not the word of God....No single man alone siad that his words alone were the words of God.......Never...Christ himself did not bear record of himself he was prophesied by the prophets and was in agreement wiht the scriptures and the prophets that preceded him. He never said he was the final word form God and that all previous words from God were corrupt.....No one prophet ever said he was the only truth...this is only true of Muhammed...No truth in Islam that is not brought to you from Muhammed.

Ervin I feel no need ot give respect to anyone but God. If I speak the truth and it offends so be it. If a man is offended by the truth the truth is not in him. If I speak the truth and one finds the truth I have done a good thing.

Shay is it enough to say God chose Muhammed....where do you get this the Quran which Muhammed brought you? Corupt scripture? Muhammed told you so? So you agree all the words of the prophets are corrupt and the only pure word of God you have is from Muhammed their i no truth in all of Islam but the truth revealed by one man. Who can only bear record of himself? This is your faith that ruth comes to mankind through only one man and without him their is no truth and God is hushed by his death? What a man even God in the flesh Jesus Christ did not bear record of himsels and he was in agreement with the scripture that preceded hism and the words of the prophets....he did not say God could not send another messenger. he did not say all scripture after me is false all before me is false i am the only truth....Though he was the truth he was revealed by the father and foretold by the prophets as he himslef taught no man should bear record of himself.

Daniel thanks Muslims never understand my questions either because they are blinded or because they do not want to deal with it. For one man to have all the truth and no truth can come from any other source seems to be a problem If Muhammed is a sinful man and not God in the flesh we have only the word of one sinful man as the word of God no truth to support it as truth only comes through him....This seems contradictory to a people who do not believe a man can be God...yet the only truth of God comes through one man.

2007-01-17 02:36:19 · update #6

Veer....Where did I call Muhammed a false prophet? I asked if 1 prophet alone could be the only voice God has? Apparently all truth must pass through one sinful man? without Muhammed all truth was corrupt and after Allah no word can come from Allah. so the simple truth of Islam is all truth would have to come form Muhammed...Not simply from Allah as Allah only speaks through Muhammed. You say you have the words of previous prophets but they have to be confirmed by the Qu'ran which was brought ot you by??? You guessed it Muhammed!!! Therefore no word from any prophet but that brought to you from Muhammed...The Qu'ran brought by Muhammed no scripture but through Muhammed no more to come no prophesy but that which come through Muhammed God can not speak only therough Muhammed....No truth exist but through Muhammed....You guys still dont see the problem?

The logic in the question is clear and the question makes a good point. unfortunately nobody so far has correctly understood the question.

The interesting point, if the questions claims are right, is that who says that Muhammed is talking on behalf of Allah? Muhammed says. Some take his word for it despite contradictions he makes with other prophets. Even today in court one mans word isn't enough but the testimony of 2 or 3. Is it true that Muhammed doesn't have 2 or 3 but only himself that verifies what he is saying?

Muhammad's duty was to bring scripture.

Like all prophets who brought scripture.

The corruption of the previous scripture is not the point.

The point is, when God sends a messenger, you need to follow him.

You may follow all the other prophets as well, but you cannot make a distinction and separate between the prophets, as the Quran points out many times in the surah's:

4. 150-152
2. 136
3.84
2.285

Therefore you cannot ignore Muhammad since he was the last.

Jews have ignored Jesus, but that does not mean Jesus was not a messenger of God.

No, Muhammed became banging a 9 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous lady he married in the route of the great of his existence.... he also left no express guidelines to his followers on a thanks to proceed into the destiny. Now 1000's die as Shi'a and Sunni kill one yet another. As a prophet... you imagine he might want to have considered this coming and been slightly extra sparkling.

I think it's all silly but you have a severe logic issue going on with your question. You're completely missing the point of what a prophet is, they are a person chosen by "god" to communicate with the world.

In the Quran, Muhammad never said he was greater than Allah, he said quite the opposite, he said to worship god, do not worship him, etc. He did say, I think he could be an intercessor and beg god to forgive people that seemed to repent. I think the point was that Allah decided he would not like to speak except through Muhammad.

ps. there is no god. so it really doesn't matter.

"All scripture and prophesies before Muahmmed are corrupt unless they agree with the Qu'ran that was given to Muhammed."

This means the Quran is greater than the other books - whether the books befire have been corrupted or not isnt really relevant (and from what islamic texts do you get the suggestion that "All scripture and prophesies before Muahmmed are corrupt" - past communities were permitted things which later communities werent and vice versa) - they have been abrogated by

"Muhammed is not anounced by God and only bears record of himself"

Muhammed (pbuh) was chosen by God-

."Allah can not speak only what comes from Muahmmed "

its completely the opposite " Muhammed could only speak what came from Allah" -

"and with Muhammed dead Allah must shut up"

revelation has ended - because Allah decreed it not Muhammed - Allah is and always was the controller of every atom in the universe and the controller of ever human being including the prophets including Muhammed and Jesus (pbut) - have you actually read the Quran ?

"Isnt Muhammed greater than Allah if Allah can only speak through him and now he is dead?"

If Muhammed was greater than Allah he wouldnt be dead - God is alive and never dies - one reason why Jesus (pbuh) wasnt God

Muhammed (pbuh) was a human being - Allah is God !!- how can a human be equal to God

As Abu bakr the sucessor to the Prophet said when the Prophet died " "Whoever worshipped Muhammad, let him know that Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped God, let him know that God lives and dies not"

Allah cant only speak through Muhameed (pbuh) - he spoke through 124,000 prophets before him!!

Do Muslims Worship Muhammad?

According to Islamic belief, the Prophet Muhammad was the last Messenger of God. He, like all of God's prophets and messengers - such as Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus -- was only a human being. Christians came to the mistaken assumption that Muslims worship Muhammad by formulating an incorrect analogy - they worship Jesus so they assumed Muslims worship Muhammad. This is one of the reasons that they called Muslims by the incorrect name "Mohammedans" for so many years! Muhammad, like Jesus, never claimed divine status. He called people to worship only Almighty God, and he continually emphasized his humanity so that people would not fall into the same errors as Christians did in regards to Jesus. In order to prevent his deification, the Prophet Muhammad always said to refer to him as "the Messenger of God and His slave". Muhammad was chosen to be God's final messenger --- to communicate the message not only in words but to be a living example of the message. Muslims love and respect him because he was of the highest moral character and he brought the Truth from God - which is the Pure Monotheism of Islam. Even when Islam was in its very early stages, God revealed that Muhammad "was sent as a mercy to all of mankind" - thus informing us that the message of Islam would become very widespread. Muslims strive to follow the great example of Muhammad, peace be upon him, but they do not worship him in any way. Additionally, Islam teaches Muslims to respect all of God's prophets and messengers - but respecting and loving them does not mean worshipping them. All true Muslims realize that all worship and prayer must be directed to Almighty God alone. Suffice it to say that worshipping Muhammad --- or anyone else --- along with Almighty God is considered to be the worst sin in Islam. Even if a person claims to be Muslim, but they worship and pray to other than Almighty God, this cancels and nullifies their Islam. The Declaration of Faith of Islam makes it clear that Muslims are taught only to worship God. This declaration is as follows: "There is nothing divine or worthy of being worshipped except for Almighty God, and Muhammad is the Messenger and Servant of God".

Muslims need to follow in toto what Muhammad has said in the Quran to save themselves from the difficulties of their earthly lives. It is only by following his directives, as he gave them through the Quran, will they be able to avoid the Fire of Hell in the world hereafter.

In other words, Muslims can earn the pleasure of Allah, if He is some one other than Muhammad himself, by following Muhammad’s words and deeds. This they have inferred from the Quran. This inference has led them to make Muhammad synonymous with Allah. That is why they repeat umpteen times in their lives that he is Allah’s Prophet in order for them to remain Muslims. That is why they invoke his name, along with Allah’s, in most of their prayers. That is why they pay more respects to him than to Allah. That is why they flock to his grave in Medina to earn his blessings.

NO. The Creator (His name is YHVH ) is Almighty. The Savior (His name is Yahoshua) is the only way of salvation. Anyone who denies the Savior is Anti-Messiah. Allah is another name for the adversary (Satan) since He denies the Savior. Muhammed being HIS prophet places him a bit lower on the scale.
