Please locate a wildlife rescue near you, as birds are extremely difficult to keep alive. A wildlife rescue has the resources and tools available to help this owlet survive and then be released back into the wild.

Good luck.

Do you know what kind of Owl it is? If its Screech and Barn owls then you can feed them Grasshoppers and Mice. You can get dead frozen mice at any large pet store, but you will have to cut them up a bit but always include the hair and bones if the baby is still downy. Best to feed is live, slightly stunned if the baby is feathered. Is the owl a protected species? If so you may be breaking a law by keeping the owl in your house. You should call the nearest Raptor Center and if you dont know if you have one, call the Police and ask for Animal Control or the DNR they can direct you to the right people.

Not seeds, don't be stupid.
Owls eat meat, but they really need to eat whole small animals such as voles and mice. just be careful where the mice come from, they could have been poisoned or anything. your best bet is to get it to a wild life rescue center or preferably, falconer as soon as possible. A falconer will already have all the equipment to look after it too. I would take it off your hands but i live in Yorkshire and i don't know where you are.

find a bird refuge for your area. owls eat mice rabbits and etc. IT IS IILEGAL to keep any wild bird and raise it whether u are trying to help it or not. A bird sanctuary will feed it and turn it loose into the wild later on. If u get caught with this baby owl, you can get fined a big fine and do jailtime. owls are protected along with any other wild bird.

You contact the nearest branch of the audobon society so that they can rehabilitate it and put it back where it belongs. Here's a link. Do it now, this being a bird of prey, it is protected by law, and if the wrong person finds out that you are illegally keeping it........

Meat. They are carnivores. I remember seeing a website on how to care for owlets. I'll see if I can find it real quick and update my answer.
