Just got an email off a friend, who was talking about 'pulling' a young lady at a party. What does that actually mean: Talking? Exchanging phone numbers? A little kiss and cuddle? When can he tick the box that he has 'pulled'?

Normally two levels. Mostly mean it was a sure lay!
One, he banged her... aka got laid!
And the other is he met this chick and vibed with her well and basicly has setup up the situation so he will be able to move forward with the next level of the mating dance!
You have to ask him though. So you pulled her like got laid or set it up sweet for down the road?

Well in Glasgow "pulling" normally means to meet someone in a club/pub and then take them home for the night.
Generally it just means a one night stand not a relationship.
