Anything with a high sodium content. Frozen meals, dishes at restaurants, fast food, and chips/other salty snacks are common culprits for high sodium. Sodas also have more sodium than necessary. With plenty of water and less sodium, you should see a difference.

Did you know that Gatorade Fruit Punch contains no fruit? The first ingredient is water, and the next ingredients include sugar in the form of sucrose syrup and glucose-fructose syrup; then “natural flavors,” salt, sodium citrate and other ingredients. No fruit juice and no fruit.
The lesson here is to read the labels, and stay away from bottled fruit punches, sports drinks and soda. They’re all just sugar in water, and some have a few electrolytes added. If you think you need some additional potassium, dilute 2 ounces of 100 percent orange or grapefruit juice in 12 ounces of water. Or, better yet, drink your water and eat an orange. That way, you’ll get fiber as a bonus. Eat a little protein
When a craving hits, have low-fat string cheese, a low-fat turkey and cheese roll-up, or fat-free cottage cheese mixed with some cut-up fruit instead of a sweet.
Have protein-packed chocolate
Take a tip from Prevention weight loss advisor Holly Wyatt, MD, an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center: "When I'm craving chocolate, I have a chocolate-coated energy bar or another similar protein bar for 210 calories. I've gotten to the point where that tastes like candy to me." But not so good that she starts in on a second.

Cut out white bread, bagels, cookies etc. If you drink milk, make it skim or even 1%. Don't eat any fried foods. Cut down on the amount of salad dressings you use (lots of fat in those).
Eat high fibre foods. Drink lots and lots of water.
