How old was he when he was neutered? If humping was already one of his favorite activities, he may just be working on habit now. Additionally, it can take over 30 days for the testosterone to leave his system, so maybe he's got some left.
Your best bet would be to keep the teddy out of reach for a while! He may just be trying to dominate the teddy. Dogs do show dominance over others by humping, so it may have no sexual connotation at all.

It must be real cute (the teddy)!!!! I think it's a dog thing generally...my Jack Russel (neutered)did the same...my Mums dog (neutered) always does it after he's had his dinner...like a sign of appreciation! So did my Collie X *****....as long as he sticks to the teddy and not visitors legs and a sausage dog shaped draught excluder like my JR. He used to hump it into the middle of the room...it's ears flapping with a really sad expression on it's face...JR at the helm.

If it was done much after 3 or 4 months, he still may do that. Mine does, I had to wait until he was around 5 months to be neutered because one testicle hadn't dropped, now sometimes he humps my female.

its a dominance thing. my female dog does it if she gets extreamly roudy at the dog park. i get so embarassed because people start pulling dogs apart and then they're like, oh, its a girl. lol. she has a tendency to do it to smaller male dogs, and she used to do it to this giant stuffed leopard she played with (that was bigger than her).
all i can say is take the bear away (we took the leopard away), and just tell him no if he does it to anything else.
oh pin him down and hump him. i've done it to mine when she was totally out of line. she behaved nicely for a while. she knows she'd better listen to mommy!!

The most probable cause could be habit if he did this before you neutered him otherwise I'd say instict. If you don't want him to do this then I suggest that you reprimand him every time he does this. He should get at what you are wanting.
I hope this helps. Good Luck.

Neutering only prevents spraying and humping if you do it before it starts. Just be grateful it's not your leg.

It sounds like dominate behavior. Dogs mount things, cats, you, other dogs, etc to show dominate behavior.
It's not a sexual thing, its an alpha male thing
